In 2011, I wrote an article for the International Journal of ePortfolio that showed how, unwittingly, higher education undercuts human learning by accepting inherited learning designs militating against good learning. Universities are moving away from the dregs of behaviorism, without even knowing that is what we are doing. This research article explains the unwitting move by higher education into a non-humanistic system of learning and how it can move away from that system. Though the article was written 9 years ago, it is strikingly appropriate to this post-Covid world as we re-think how we humans do things at the deepest
level. http://www.theijep.com/pdf/IJEP34.pdf
